| I might not be ready for all that life has to throw at me. I might end up tripping along the way. I might lose myself for a moment. But that won’t stop me from challenging everything. I want to climb the tallest mountains, even if that means falling back down. I want to swim in the deepest oceans, even if that means I almost drown. I want to be some where between life and death, just to have the power to choose. I want to get my heart broken just to know I’m still human. I want to chase danger. I want to laugh, scream, and run. I want to love something with everything; I want the experiences it will bring. I want to make mistakes and I want to forgive them. I don’t want to be perfect. I don’t want to be alone. I find myself comforted by what is unknown. I get lost in the pages of my mind. And I find myself wanting to hold my breath forever, just to see if I can. Wanting to touch the sky, just to hold it in my hands. Wanting to remain impulsive and act by instinct not by plan. Wanting to stay up all night laughing. Wanting to cry for hours. I want to look back and love it, love everything I’ve done. I want to do everything life throws at me. I want to take my falls and scrape my knees. I want to lose myself just to see if I can find it. I want to challenge everything, just to overcome it. |
